It is easy to be mad a Jax in the beginning but once we know the whole story we love him and forgive him, at least I did, it took Gia longer. I love a guy who knows what he wants and goes after it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE a man who loves a woman and who pursues her. The "climax" scene was a bit obvious not maybe the exact outcome but there was enough foreshadowing. I thought Gia was a bit too obstinate, if you love him you love him, try it or don't but come one. This story is short so there isn't a ton of depth, I would have read more from this couple but that said, I liked them. That said, you really can't complain about Sylvia Day! There is a difference in quality, style and ability when we are reading from her. So this is 2 shorts in 1 which I appreciate!! Thank you for putting them together! I will almost never get a book under 7 hours unless it is really cheap and a part of a series.
